Rev. Eyoanwan Otu bags Annunciation award; unveils the Kids of Tomorrow Foundation

Rev Eyoanwan Otu, Wife of the Cross River State Governor, has received a special award of recognition by the Annunciation Girls Juniorate, Ogoja, for her contributions to the development of the school.

In her acceptance speech, Rev Otu, who was represented by Dr Inyang Asibong, Special Adviser, Programs, Projects and Events to the Office of Wife of Governor, congratulated the school at 50, and showered encomiums on the school for its exemplary administration and for grooming outstanding future leaders with the fear of God. She made these remarks at the school’s Golden Jubilee celebration over the weekend.

In the same vein, Her Excellency, Rev Eyoawan Otu, also performed the cutting of ribbon to launch the Kids of Tomorrow Foundation (KOTF) Medical supplies unveiling,at the serene Lastmotor community in Ikom Local Government Area.

The KOTF is Founded by Lady Tekum Pentecoster Fombe who is very passionate about providing succour to underprivileged children including the refugee community, and ensuring a bright future for them.

In her remarks, Her Excellency, who was represented by Dr. Inyang Asibong, Special Adviser, Programs, Projects and Events to the Office of Wife of Governor, commended the founder of the KOTF for the initiative and assured of the support of the State Government. She also expressed her hope that the KOTF would go a long way in helping to improve the lives of the children in the community.

The unveiling of the KOTF Medical Equipments for the Foundation hospital was the high point of event, as it marked the beginning of a new chapter in the lives of the children in the Foundation orphanage and the community at large. The foundation is expected to provide much-needed support to these children, helping them to reach their full potential.
