Kingdom Dynamites Center celebrates one year, awards its members

There was unlimited praise, singing, and dancing as members of Kingdom Dynamites Center (KDC), a Pentecostal church headquartered in Calabar, Cross River State, celebrated the first anniversary of the church on Sunday, July 30, 2023.

The celebration service was themed; ‘Beyond the Status Quo’.

Men, women, youths, and children of the church were beautifully dressed dancing to songs from the choir as they worshipped God.

Besides singing and dancing, the anniversary was celebrated with different activities that those who attended will not forget in a hurry.

Speaking during the celebration service, the senior pastor of the church, Rev. Iyke Omai, explained that the celebration was not just about singing the church’s praise but reflecting on God’s benevolence, goodness, and mercies within the first year of existence.

Rev. Iyke, as he is fondly called, further noted that the purpose of the church was to contribute its quota to the expansion of Christ’s Kingdom by getting men who would stand firm for Christ.

The guest minister, Rev. F.C.M Ogbuji, a renowned evangelist and missionary, in his sermon stressed the need to leverage God’s help, which is ever available, and not to always complain about not having anyone to help you.

Ogbuji also rededicated the church to God, assuring the church that they will continue to grow in wisdom and knowledge of Christ.

Other activities to mark the celebration included power-filled programs with Pastor Johnnie Akpanke, Israel Joe, Min. Ekanem Esu, and Min. Solomon Ogbaji as guest ministers, awards to members who have served in the church diligently, ministration from the choir, dance ministration from the children, and goodwill messages from the men, women, and youth department, amongst others.
