by According to information reaching CrossRiverWatch, unknown gunmen assaulted police officers at two checkpoints in Obubra LGA in Central Cross River state early this morning, chanting IPOB songs.
Two officers were shot and killed in the early morning assault at Ofotura, while four more officers were killed at the Oyadama checkpoint. The criminals took away all of their guns.
Another soldier, who was shot in the side, has been reported dead.
