CRS Chapter Of The Nigerian Union Of Journalists Announces Her Week-long 2022 NUJ Media Week

The Cross River State Chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists announces her week-long 2022 NUJ Media Week, kicking off on Friday 18th through Sunday 27th of November 2022.

Announcing the event during a courtesy visit paid to FAD FM on Wednesday, the State Chairman of the Union, Comrade Nsa Gills said the event which will start with a Juma’at Service on Friday at Navy Barracks praying centre, IBB way, will also feature City Walk, and Medical Outreach. Adding that the press centre is the take-off point.

Also speaking, Comrade Gills added that the climax of the event is a public discussion slated for Friday 25th of November, at Transcorp Hotel on the theme “2023 General Election, The Nigeria Project and the Media”, with His Excellency, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the Executive Governor of Kano State being the Chairman of the occasion and the State Governor, Senator Ben Ayade as the Chief Host.

Meanwhile, receiving the guests and speaking on behalf of FAD FM, the Head of Station, Ms Tina Akwaeke welcomed the veterans and promised the active partnership of the media firm in publicising the events, as well as delivering effective representation by all members of staff.

The receiving team from FAD FM are the HoS, Tina Akwaeke, the Peoples’ Opinion co-anchor, Mr. Fidelis Ubana and the station’s News Editor, Miss Efa Sunday.
