Cross River Government Partners Peter Bello Foundation, Nikon On Photography Skills

The Cross River State Government has announced that it is partnering with the Peter Bello foundation and Japanese optics and imaging giants Nikon to educate Cross Riverians on photography skills.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Events management and governor’s office, Kenneth Aklah disclosed this during a media briefing Friday, in Calabar where he disclosed it was part of the exciting innovations that were being introduced into the 32 day Calabar Festival which began on December 1, 2016 with the charity walk to mark the World Aids Day.

Aklah said the partnership which is being led by the Carnival Calabar Commission and the ICT ministry will also feature some sort of exhibition where classic photographs will be sold by the participants.

Also, the chairman of the Carnival Calabar Commission, Gabe Onah said that the Government is using the platform to ensure Cross Riverians take advantage of the job opportunities in the creative industry.

Visuals and photography director also says the Peter Bello foundation on Friday carried out a screening exercise after interested participants had earlier registered online with the Photography Master class slated for December 20 and 21, 2016.
