In a time where zealousness and commitment towards ones career is lacking among youths, loosing a committed one becomes painful and unbearable.
It is in deed a sad moment for the Nigeria Football Association as Nasarawa United Defender Chineme Martins who Collapsed in the football pitch on 8th of March during an NPFL Encounter VS Katsina United after a collision with an opponent has been confirmed dead. This sad and unexpected trauma happened in a bit to defend his team from being defeated by the Katsina United football club.
Though Reliable sources has it that Chineme did not die in the football pitch, but Chineme’s death was confirmed at the Hospital. Fans and lovers of Martins Chineme expressed their heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, they also stated that their Hearts are with His immediate family, Nassarawa United, and the Entire Nigerian Football Community on yet another very painful loss.
The Nassarawa United coach and his team mates also mourn and sympathies with his family on his demise saying that his dead is a great lost to his family, the football club and Nigeria Football Association at large.
Until his death, he was a gallant and committed footballer, his enthusiasm and zeal to reach the apex of his career has been his priorities, but unfortunately the cold hands of death has deprived him of those dreams.
Very Sad Times indeed for Nigerian Football Association.
