by Preparations are now in top gear for the 2023 Ohafia Outstanding Performance Award and Ohafia Most Beautiful Girl event which has been slated to hold on Sunday October 1st, 2023, at the Bluespring Hotel, Ohafia, Abia, Nigeria.
This award, instituted some five years ago, has consistently painstakingly identified and recognised individuals who are making just a little more effort; those going the extramile through their extraordinary skill and efforts, to move their community forward.
These include those doing little things, that have extraordinarily profound impact in their community.
According to the President of Teen Strength, organizers of the event, Hum. Michael Oji Idika, “Ohafia Outstanding Performance Award is an annual event that recognizes individuals who demonstrate extraordinary commitment to the growth and development of young people and the community at large.”
In the previous editions of the Award, many prominent Ohafians including Nze Uche Uche Ohafia, Eze Igwe Ojike, Kelvin Jumbo among others have been recognised for extraordinary impact to the community.
This year’s event will be celebrating a Texas-base clergyman Dr. Emeka Agwu, an Ophthalmologist, Dr. Anya Kalu and renowned traditional ruler, Ezieogo Mba Odo Okereke.
Others are singer Uche Uduma and Journalist, Chief Uduma Nnate to mention but few.
The event will also be held alongside the Ohafia Most Beautiful Girl 2023 which is a show of beauty and purpose.
