Incidence of kidnap has been on the very high side in the city of Calabar. And no one has been able to make available tangible reason as to why the sudden increase in the rate of kidnap in Calabar.
Mrs. Ekwele Agube has just been kidnapped from her shop in Ekorinim Calabar by gunmen who came in an Audi 80 vehicle.
Mrs. Agube is the wife of Hon. Justice Ignatius Agube of the Appeal Court.
The way about the kidnappers is not known. Security operative have also been contacted in order to set up a search party for Mrs. Agube.
As at the time this report was filed, the kidnappers have neither called nor contacted anyone as regards her ransom.
