The issue of abduction has been and is still a menace to the peace and stability of any society. It’s treats to the life of both the abducted and his or her family can never be overemphasized.
According to a reliable source, an army officer who was abducted by gunmen in Ondo State has been set free.
The soldier was released to go home on the night of Wednesday 13th May, 2020 alongside two other people who were also abducted. They were left at a border town between Ondo and Edo states.
The release of the soldier was confirmed to our correspondence on Thursday morning by the spokesperson for the 32 Artillery Brigade, Owena Barracks of the Nigerian Army, Akure, Captain Ayorinde Omojokun.
According to captain Ayorinde Omojokun, the army officer was now as at the time of this report on his way to Ibadan, Oyo State, where he is billed to report for a special assignment.
