Acting Chairman CRIRS Calls On General Public To Embrace Tax Payment, Pledges to Collaborate With FADFM 93.1 Calabar.

The acting Executive Chairman of the Cross River State Internal Revenue Service, Prince Edwin Oliver Okon has called upon the general public to embrace tax payment as it plays a vital role in the transformation of the state.

The acting chairman made this known during a courtesy visit by the staff members on behalf of the management of FAD Media Group, owners of FADFM 93.1 Calabar and FAD360TV in his office in Calabar today.

The meeting was to discuss areas of collaboration from both organisations in fostering and sensitization of the public on tax matters, pointing out its relevance to the growth and development of Cross State.

According to Prince Oliver Okon “The evidence of tax payment is clear and can be seen all over the state. The solar street lights in the Calabar metropolis and road constructions are evidence.”

“I will also ensure that CRIRS Partners with FADFM 93.1 Calabar in dissemination of relevant information.” He added.

He also stated that the duty of the IRS does not just end at ensuring tax is paid, but also putting down its ears to get information that could be of benefit to the state.
