The Friday edition of “Serenade with the Boss Lady,” a renowned radio show on Fad93.1 fm Calabar, hosted by Mrs. Temitope Duker also known as The Boss Lady had on the show the prestigious Aneke twins, Chidinma and Chidiebere Aneke.
The Aneke twins are popular Nollywood actors and are loved by many.
According to the Aneke twins, it was fun growing as identical twins, most times it was easy for them to play pranks on their late father since he could barely differentiate them.
You both ventured into Nollywood, whose decision was it? Temitope asked.
In response, they both said that they joined the movie industry at the same time. Although Chidinma revealed that she was really doing continuity while Chidiebere was acting.
The Aneke twins further revealed that their career in acting began when they visited their elder sister who also is in the movie industry. They were loved by everyone and were casted as Chief Pete Edocie’s children in the movie Ibuka.
Chidinma went ahead to reveal that although they both acted Ibuka together, she gradually fell in love with continuity job. This, she said was due to how the continuity lady on the set for Ibuka dressed “Jean, Polo and a canvas.”
What changed about you?
“Life is all about learning” she responded, stating that learning continuity has really helped both of them in the production of their own movies. She also revealed that she has taught a lot of people continuity.
Meanwhile, the Aneke twins also mentioned that they both act better and also share the jobs they have with each other.
They also added that they play pranks on Producers, and always switch sets. This according to them, is easily achieved by switching phones with each other.
As a way of juggling their film making career with other activities, the prestigious nollywod stars made it known that they most times argue before coming to agreement on what to do.
They also mentioned that they learned how to bake cakes and this has really helped to reach out to many widows which they always share cakes to.
According to them, they do everything together. “We have separate accounts, but we have a joint account for our business.”
Do you play pranks on men?
In response, the Aneke twins mentioned that they tried it before, but will never try it again. Adding that they love each other.
