42 people have been nominated by President Muhammadu Buhari to assume duties as ambassador designates, all nominees are career officers with proven qualities of commitment to serving the nation Nigeria.
The 42 names were enclosed in a letter sent to the Senate and read to Senators on the floor of the National Assembly by President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, on Tuesday.
The President Muhammadu Buhari in his letter requested the consent of the Senate for the confirmation of the 42 nominees as ambassadors designate.
Some of the names are Nwachukwu C. A.; A. Kefas ; Y S. Suleiman; G.M. Okolo; G.E. Edopa, among others.
The President have also stated that the complete profiles of the 42 nominees would be forwarded to the Senate in no distant time.
