In the early hours of Monday, gunmen have attacked some villages in Dandume Local Government Area of Katsina State, three persons were killed and one person kidnapped in the process.
According to a resident of the area who spoke to our correspondence, the hoodlums also carted away with a large number of their animals and food items.
He further mentioned that the hoodlums made the attacked on the villages at about 1:00am with guns on motorcycles.
The most recent attack took place few days after some residents protested the incessant killings by bandits in the Katsina State.
The protesters in the course of their actions called for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Aminu Masari.
Not less than 30 persons were killed in May after bandits attacked some communities in Katsina State.
The village head of Daura, President Buhari’s hometown in Katsina, Musa Umar Uba was also kidnapped by bandits.
