A Lagos Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos, has absolved Nigerian singers Naira Marley, Sammy Larry, and Prime Boy of any role in Mohbad’s death.

Remember that Mohbad died on September 24, 2023, leaving a vacuum in Nigeria’s entertainment scene.

Despite multiple court hearings and investigations, the circumstances of Mohbad’s death are unknown.

Furthermore, Naira Marley, Mohbad’s former record label boss, Sammy Larry, and Prime Boy, a close colleague, have been accused of complicity in Mohbad’s killing.

On February 25, 2025, the Lagos Magistrate Court dismissed claims against Naira Marley, Sammy Larry, and Prime Boy.
