Speaking on FADFM’s “The People’s Opinion” program, Professor Egaga attributed the chaos to the rain and students’ eagerness to take the exams.

“What happened was a surge, not a stampede. Students were rushing to take the exams, and the rain exacerbated the situation.”

Egaga emphasized that some students’ refusal to follow due process contributed to the incident. He suggested that if students had conducted themselves responsibly, the situation could have been avoided.
