CRISSAA NEW DG, MR. UBONG SAM SET TO REPOSITION THE AGENCY.

The newly appointed Director General of the Cross River State Signage and Advertisements Agency, CRISSAA, Mr Ubong Sam has expressed his resolve to reposition the Agency to justify the confidence reposed in him and his team of directors by His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu the Executive Governor of Cross River State.

The new DG made this resolve at an enlarged meeting of the Staff of CRISSAA in company of other newly appointed directors of the Board of CRISSAA. The DG admonished the Staff to take their work seriously, work as a team and do the needful to deliver on the enormous task ahead of him. According to the DG, the inputs of all staff will be required as the task of repositioning the Agency is a collective one.

Mr Ubong who described his appointment as a function of grace, acknowledged the fact that only God has the power to enthrone whoever he chooses to enthrone and that no body can fights a man that carries grace. He remarked that, one can cannot achieve much with the strength of the human fresh but with trust in God much can be achieved.
Accordingly, the DG told the Staff that the Agency shall be conducting morning devotion and prayers very Monday to hand over the affairs of the Agency to God.

As a demonstration of His Excellency Prince Bassey Edet Otu government’s “Seasons of Sweetness” mantra, the DG promised to set up an in-house committee to institute a monthly best performing staff award and an overall best staff award to be given at the end of the year.

The new DG promised to synergies with relevant MDAs of government to seamlessly deliver on the mandate of the Agency which is principally to generate revenue for the development of the State, he also assured the staff of his willingness to establish CRISSAA offices in Central and Northern Senatorial Districts of the State to enhance the ease of doing business in the State.

Speaking on behalf of the staff, the Director of Administration of CRISSAA, Mrs Nkese Iquiro congratulated the DG and his team of Directors for a well deserved appointments. According to her, the Governor, His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu took into account the capacity of each of the Board members in the justification of their appointments.

Mrs Nkese pledge the loyalty and cooperation of the entire staff to the DG and his team. She used the opportunity to highlight some of the challenges of the Agency to the DG, who promised that the issues raised would be handled with utmost attention.
