The statement, titled “Unexpected Sunset,” expressed deep sorrow over her passing, saying, “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of the Wife of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, after a brief illness. She passed away peacefully on September 26, 2024, with her family by her side.”
