CALABAR SOUTH WOMEN FELICITATES WITH DR. INYANG ASIBONG AND LADY ESTHER BASSEY
The Calabar South Women felicitates with Dr. Inyang Asibong and Lady Esther Bassey on their meritorious award bestowed on them by the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs in Partnership with Excellent Women International.
The outstanding works of two illustrious daughters of Calabar South, Dr. Inyang Asibong and Lady Esther Bassey has attracted nationwide recognition. The duo because of their humanitarian acts and their contributions to the growth of the nation were awarded by the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs in collaboration with Excellent Women International, as a ‘Nigerian Quintessential Woman’. The Award which is an award of excellence, is awarded to women of proven integrity who have contributed immensely to the growth of their society and nation at large. Dr. Inyang Asibong and Lady Esther Bassey were Awarded as outstanding women from Cross River State who have made their marks in the echelon of Nigerian politics as they were specially recognised this Thursday in Abuja.
The vibrant and vivacious Dr. Inyang Asibong, is a Nominated Member of the World Health Organization’s International Working Group on Investment for Impact in Geneva, Switzerland; immediate past State Program Officer and Coordinator for the USAID/John Hopkins University Malaria Program ; immediate past CRS Commissioner For Health, a Senior Resident at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital and a certified Development Expert. Lady Esther Bassey within few months in office has been able to impact on the lives of the the people of Calabar South. She is very diligent and is committed to fulfilling the mandate given to her. She has been able to carry the women along in her cabinet.
The Calabar South women are happy with Dr. Inyang Asibong and Lady Esther Bassey and charges other women in Calabar South to be impactful in their environs and represent Calabar South well in wherever they find themselves.
