The Federal Government of Nigerian has announced the reopening of schools for exiting students in secondary schools across the country.
According to the COVID-19 task force, the critical and revision classes for JSS 3 and SS 3 students would resume to prepare them for their existing examinations. This is in a bit to avoid an unprecedented failure which might come as a result of the ban on schools.
After due consideration of the degree of COVID-19 spread across the country, and its negative economic impact on the citizens, the federal government has also lifted the ban on interstate movement and local flights out curfew hours with effect from 1st July, 2020.
Meanwhile, during the daily briefing, the chairman of the presidential task force on COVID-19 Boss Mustapha also made it known that President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the extension of the eased lockdown phase for four weeks.
